Lupita together with her team and friends yesterday graced her home in Ratta Village for the first time after going missing for about two years. Her aim for visiting was for obvious reasons, not forgetting her mentoring projects for the young people.
The Oscar award winning actress homecoming party was well planned and fun as Eric Omondi took over with his MC skills. However things got a bit emotional for Lupita after listening to a choral verse recited by pupils from Mariwa Primary School in Kisumu County.
The choral verse which touched on the state of insecurity in the country moved the actress to tears as she sat back taking notes. At some point she was caught on camera trying to fight back her tears.
Anyway during her speech, the lass encouraged the upcoming generation urging them to seek their purpose in life. She said,
You may be facing numerous challenges at home. Your parents could be poor or you could be living with relatives who are not supportive and feel alone in the world. Let this not define you or your future. You were created to achieve more and to be the best the world can have.
